Charles Rennie Mackintosh Reproduction Light Shade for the White Room, Ingram Street Tea Rooms
A beautiful recreation of the original and unique light shade Mackintosh designed for the White Dining Room in Kate Cranston’s Ingram Street Tea Rooms.
The shades are completely hand-made in metal by skilled Scottish craftsmen and have a highly polished chrome finish. Each of the four sides are fitted with four leaded glass panels filled with period hand-floated coloured glass.
Above each glass panel is a series of holes through which light escapes. The overall effect is a unique object that emphasises the design magic of Mackintosh.
